Heat fans are hating so hard on the “overpay” of Jaylen
He’s our best player
There is no universe where Jaylen isn’t our 2nd best player that’s an absurd statement. The contract being an overpay isn’t even relevant, we had to pay him or we would have lost him next year for free. Does he have suspect handles and not great BBIQ? Yeah, but he also just averaged 27ppg and is an elite iso scorer and slasher. He’s a top 15-20 player in the league, we need him to win a ring.
Everything goes away if we win a championship. Nobody is talking about the Nuggets paying 30M for a guy who can’t defend, who had a below 1 AST/TO and couldn’t be on the court for more than 27 minutes 3 out of 5 games of the final.

JB is our 3rd bsst player if KP stays healthy. KP will most likely have similar PPG with better defense and I think he will open up more space for JT by being such a threat in the post. The dude gets to the line really well too

We were talking about if the Celtics won that series and people didn’t remember Steph Curry was torching us, that JB would be Finals MVP. It’s as if many “observers” forgot about that.

3rd, 4th or 5th best player is a stretch. KP might now be our 2nd best all around player but JB is our 2nd best scorer and if something unfortunate happened to JT (like an injury), JB could be a lead scorer so we don’t collapse.
