Just finished re-watching the entire playoff run and my big takeaway is that I wish I would have enjoyed it more. The amount of stress and angst I felt compared to the ease in which the Nuggets breezed to a title was totally out of proportion.

I promise to be better for this season’s championship.

Aw shucks, we came just 200 comments short of me ever tipping again in my life. Oh well, I’m a man of my word.

If we don’t reach 1k comments today, I’ll keep j_like blocked.

MAN I JUST WANT TO BE HEALTHY SO I DONT HAVE TO SIT IN MY FUCKING BASEMENT ALL DAY

LET ME PLAY BASKETBALL AND HANG OUT WITH MY GF

So far this summer, I think Jamal seems to be working on basketball the most, for the starters. For the bench, maybe CB.

Put him in the Dunk Contest, folks

Been looking at data analysts/scientist entry level jobs in my area, since I’m doing some programming certifications. Wanted to gauge the field for what kind of money is out there. And damn they don’t pay shit for entry level around here. It says its below national average, so not shocking. But $18-20 starting out? Thats tough to do. Hopefully the certification will keep me above that range since it’s technically experience and education

How many steps removed do you think AI bros are from crypto bros? I feel like they’re on about the same level of finance bros

I often tip bartenders and waitrons, and I don’t even live in a place where they depend on tips to do stuff like eat food or pay their bills. That’s how cool I am.

Another downside to being kept in this covid ward I call a basement: the toilet bowl is too small (for my penis) and there are spiders (daddy long legs) in the bathroom and the shower is yucky.

Kinda wild to think about that between Gobert, Davis, and Bam there is a combined 3DPOY awards and 14 All-Defensive team finishes. The only non All-Defense C that Jokic went up against this postseason run was Ayton, and Jokic averaged 34.5/13.2/10.3 on .594/.444/.854 splits (66.3% TS) against PHX.

Just kinda crazy to think Jokic’s playoff run could have been even more insane.

People don’t expect tips here in Portugal but in Russia you tip 10-15% every time in a cafe or a restaurant, so here we keep feeling guilty if we don’t leave a euro or two for any meal. I think it’s same for Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

In Ru, waiters won’t run after guests if someone doesn’t leave any tip tho. And if it’s a bigger party of 8+ people, usually the service fee is added, and guests don’t tip after that.

Ok I’m ready to get yelled at:

I don’t think tipping culture is inherently bad AND I think even if there were a way to objectively quantify that it is bad, it’s not nearly big a problem to actually care about

    >So one of my best friends from high school was dating a huge Chris Paul fan(I know, huge red flag) and she surprised him with one of those “The Valley” jerseys because he was always talking about them. Well a week later he cheated on her with some chick he met at a funeral and that’s exactly the type of behavior I’d expect from a CP3 Stan.

If restaurants paid their servers living wages I would still tip because they have to deal with people like WRB on a daily basis and I think they should be rewarded every single day they aren’t driven to murdering people.

I like my home life a lot more than my work life. I’d like to spend more time home and less time at work, if possible. Thank you.

Really tough to buy these witnesses’ claims with them clearly being unable to explain anything in a technical manner

E: OK the bald dude is much better than the chump on the right

Monte Morris was a true pioneer in the fight against tipping culture

  19. vladimir_pimpin

Ok my best idea for the most mind blowing right turn that the hearing can take: they find proof of god

  20. lemondhead

If I was a tipped employee, I’d tell them to keep my hourly wage. I want just the tip. Tyvm

Can someone tell me if these guys sound at all credible or if they’re crackpots
