  1. We got rid of 4 of our talented young players for a bags of chips. On wait, we had to even give a bag of chips to just move some of them. This is how much our coaching stuff and FO have &&&ed up in the last 3 yr, and we are paying the price now. This is painful to watch as a Rockets fan.

  2. I can't think of much good to say about this offseason. Some if it has to do with the landscape. VanVleet being the most prized target in FA speaks to what a weak class it is. He's a good but not elite player. Spent all the rest of the money on straight crappy players. Again, that's all that was out there. Got rid of some good players with potential. Maybe they weren't long term answers, but you 'roster churned' them for garbage. "phase 2" was just something they made up because they want to force the timeline. it doesn't work that way. So now we're gonna have our no. 4 overall pick coming off the bench I guess.

"The Rockets are better today than they were a week ago." Yeah, sure… we've got a 30-35 win team maybe but this time around we're kind of stuck with it for better or worse for this next 'phase.' As tough as being in the rebuild tank is, it's infinitely better than a fast-tracked ride on the 'meh' train, destination: mediocrity for a decade.
