The Pacers are the team that I am surprised wasn’t more aggressive in chasing Siakam. The fit would be amazing for them. Siakam would be optimized with all their spacing, he would be an excellent defensive fit next to Turner, and he would give them two legit All NBA level guys (I think Hali would have made All NBA if he hadn’t gotten injured last season).

Siakam would vault them into a top 4-5 team in the east very easily. His fit next to Hali and Turner and bruce would be nasty. I do fear contracts dont matchup, I think ideally you would want them to keep hield to compete but he’s the largest tradeable contract they have.
Theis / Mathurin / McConnell / Toppin for Siakam works. Include multiple FRPs and I think I would easily pull the trigger on that.
Hali / Hield / Brown / Siakam / Turner Nemby / Nesmith / Nwora / Smith / Jax
Dennis / GTJ / OG / Scottie / Jak McConnell / Mathurin / Dick / Boucher / Obi / Precious
I think it propels Indiana into legit ECF contenders and the raps become deeper / younger while still maintaining some semblance of competitive ability.
