    Kinda a word soup šŸœ

    Go get it buddy

  2. KennySmithsKnees

Kind of a disrespectful question. None of your damn business

  3. Paralta

Dude used that generational wealth to pay the reporter to ask that question šŸ˜‚

I love when athletes give back. They dont even have to do yet he did. All credit and respect goes to him.

  5. UnearthlyDinosaur

He wants to end the wealth gap by earning $300 million?

  6. Bubby_JJT_808

Finally dude is gonna work on his left hand dribbleā€¦crazy to think that heā€™s been playing one handed his entire life and still got this far.

  7. Awwwphuck

Lol. The guy with the richest contract in the NBA wants to end the wealth gap. Iā€™m not sitting here saying Iā€™d donate all that money to charity, Iā€™d squander it and buy a yacht. But come on dude, donā€™t make it seem like youā€™re Robin Hood .

Let’s just hope he puts his money where his mouth is. That amount of money can do a lot of good if it’s invested properly.

Not a whole lot of precedent of more capitalism reversing the effects of capitalism, but whatever, his heart seems like itā€™s in the right place, and I have 0 expectations for an athlete to have a cogent social or political take

this is a nice sentiment and I am sure he will do some good things. But it has been shown over and over again that “Black wealth” doesn’t uplift communities. It just creates 1 or a hand full of rich black people who act exactly the same a rich white capitalist. while the wealth gap still remains and the communities that the rich black person claims they want to help and uplift keep struggling. It doesn’t matter if it’s Jay Z who is the poster child for black capitalism excellence as he put a dumb “school” to teach people to trade crypto where he grew up. Killer Mike who claimed MLK and campaigned for Bernie Sanders just to fall back to the Black people gotta get rich and own everything to change things. Or the whole city of Atlanta that is completely run by Black Liberals and yet has one of the biggest issues with police violence against black and poor people and a huge wealth gap in the city.

The only answer a rich person should give if they are serious about actually fixing those issues is “I want the government to tax the fuck out of me and I will lobby them to use those funds to implement Universal Healthcare, Free Public College, and a UBI system that gives people the ability to take advantage of opportunities and risks to improve their lives without the threat of having no money to pay for basic things like food and shelter. All while not cutting any social safety nets that already exist.”

People are going to make fun of Jaylen for this answer being a bit of word salad and some of his past nonsense, but if he’s going to use his money for good I don’t really care if his answer is a bit jumbled. Good for him and I hope he follows through.

    Good on him.

However, without the right people, system, culture and an effective plan he probably won’t get anything more than just helping a small portion of the community he is trying to target.

Overall though. He can do whatever the hell he wants with his money and he doesn’t owe anyone shit.

Genuinely one of the dumbest things I’ve heard in a long while, thought this quote was fake when I read it at first.

Brown sometimes sounds like heā€™s got a great mind and other times sounds like heā€™s got 2 cicadas running the show up there. The duality of Brown. Honestly plays out on the court too.

  16. shirinsmonkeys

It’d be better if he hired a dribbling coach first

  17. XAgentNovemberX

Well this certainly doesnā€™t seem as exciting as what Zion has been doing with his money.

  18. BlindJoeFresh

    Stimulate the wealth gap???? šŸ¤”

  19. Exoduss123

Did he just said he gonna ā€œattack minorities and stimulate wealth gapā€ ???
