I think this team is massively slept on. Health is the only thing holding this team back. If we get 60+ games from the top guys then I think we’re easily top 8 seed, if LaMelo, Miles, and Mark play how I think they will then top 6 seed is in the cards.

I've been a Hornet's sicko since the LJ, Zo, Muggys, Dell etc days, survived the Bobcats years, and stayed blindly optimistic that MJ would eventually accidentally get it right at some point over the past 13 years. Sneakily, a the core 4 of Melo, Mark, Miller, and Miles ("4M" anyone?) may have finally (accidentally?) gotten it right because they each have different strengths that should compliment each other and collectively impact winning.

29 is too low. There are going to be 4 or 5 teams that are poised for ping pong balls, by design. Portland and San Antonio right out the gate. Chicago after the deadline. Orlando could dump out as well. If things go sour, New Orleans could fire sale. Washington is definitely below the Buzz.
Haven’t even mentioned Bridges’ contract year. Good coaching, and I’d be surprised if this isn’t a playin team.

Charlotte has more population than Cleveland, Indianapolis, Orlando, Sacramento, Memphis, Denver, etc….yet they speak about charlotte like its a small country town with 25k residents. 😅
Last year I was in Charlotte for a company christmas party and was excited to have tickets even though Lamelo was injured. I was excited to at least be able to see the Bucks come into town and watch one of the best players in the world possibly drop 40 on us. Instead, I found out about an hour before tip off they would be benching their entire starting 5. Instead of watching Giannis up close, I instead got to witness Bobby Portis giving us buckets all night. We still lost.

Every year I think we're being ranked too low then by the end we end up where we were placed. I'm guilty of forgetting the rest of the league get better every year too not just our guys.
