The Wait is Over: Bol Bol’s Insane Comeback

The Wait is Over: Bol Bol’s Insane Comeback

If you thought the Phoenix Suns were done making moves, well, think again. They’re showing no signs of slowing down this offseason. I mean, seriously, the Suns’ new owner Mat Ishbia is willing to spare no expense. He’s ready to go all in, regardless of the price tag.

And when we thought they couldn’t surprise us any further, they agreed to not one, not two, but three separate deals recently. They were wheelin’ and dealin’, and it’s all coming together to make this Suns roster even more formidable. They are setting the stage for an even more thrilling and promising season.

First, they traded Cameron Payton to the Spurs, snagging a valuable second-round pick in return. They also managed to secure three future second-round picks from the Magic by swapping one of their first-round picks in 2026. Smart move, right?

But they didn’t stop there. Oh no, they had their eyes on none other than the talented Bol Bol. Bol is now officially a Phoenix Suns player. After being waived by the Magic in early July, he quickly became a hot commodity, and the Suns were quick to scoop him up. He’s got the chance now to shine in the Suns’ top-heavy rotation, alongside superstars like Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton.

  1. Bol had a decent stretch with the Magic but fell out the rotation once they got fully healthy , Having KD n Book as a vets will definitely develop his game👌🏾

  2. Worth min deal. HE getting way too much attention for being only a min player though lol

  3. Great video. I think he is a great prospect for the Suns who like you said, is low risk high reward. He is in a good place to develop under Vogel, who loves long athletic bigs

  4. im exited as a Suns fan living in Phoenix. Everyone has said nothing but great things about Bol exept Arenas, I think his mad Lakers didnt sign him.

  5. Bol didnt have a structured environment with the Magic. Just a bunch of young talent with no real leaders and they are still figuring out their rebuild. So its very common to see inconsistencies. With regards to being with Denver, just as the video said, he just couldnt crack the rotation. It happens, even with good young players. Sometimes coaches also are stuck in their ways at rotations. Heck, Monty for the Suns didnt play some guys very well like Bridges who has broken out with the Nets from that Durant trade. Bol isnt here to be a star or a big asset for the Suns, that is just a plus if it does happen. No, the Suns wanted a Javalee McGee type player in the rotation. They actually had McGee in a potential trade with the Mavs for a bundle of players for Ayton. But obviously that fell through. Bol I think is an upgrade of McGee. Javalee can run the floor, he is long and can block shots and play defense. But Bol can also do all that AND he can handle the ball, has an outside shot and can run the floor very well. So yeah, I think this was a great depth signing.

  6. BOLBOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…………❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  7. I believe bol bol can be a taller kd since his player to watch was kd and now they partners. Im sure kd can help him ge his shot right and if he does, u have a second kd coming off the bench

  8. If Bol Bol had any value, why did the Magic just release him, not trade him & get some type of asset in return?

  9. Hoop reports! I didn’t know you had a second account!!? Anyways been a sub of ur original account since 10k love to see more vids!

  10. The second round pick the suns got from the spurs is top 55 protected. So they probably won’t even get that pick. The suns pretty much just gave Payne away for nothing to save money.
