Amed Rosario was on an expiring contract and the Cleveland Guardians were unlikely to re-sign the young shortstop, so instead, the team dealt him to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for pitcher Noah Syndergaard.
Syndergaard was once a dominant pitcher for the Mets but has since fallen off a cliff. If any team can revitalize his career, it’s the Guardians. The team also recalled Oscar Gonzalez from Triple-A to fill Rosario’s roster spot until Syndergaard returns from a rehab assignment.
Justin Herbert just got the most overall money of any quarterback in the NFL, but Deshaun Watson is still the only QB with a fully guaranteed deal. Will there ever be another deal like Watson’s?

Yāall are WAY too optimistic about this team. The only groups that are even above average are defensive ends, offensive guards, and running back. Otherwise there are a bunch of meh positions (QB, secondary, offensive tackle) and a few alarmingly bad spots like linebacker and WR. This is a .500 team at best
