Tim Cato is super negative. Been a Mavs fan for 25 years man and never heard such negative Maverick person. Capella moves the needle big time.

Cato is the man. He thinks like I think. Where will Hardyās minutes come from? Curry and Hardaway day one are better than him. OMax could be the surprise rotation guy and Powell
And Holmes could sit. We shall see. Grant Williams could play half his minutes at center.
Tim really needs that vacation he hasn't taken. The entire scenario involving Capella is exactly what he described. Get Capella as a defensive and rebounding center as a definite upgrade over what the Mavs currently have AND have him here for those purposes as Lively develops and hopefully takes over. This gives the Mavs an upgrade for now, then gives a solid backup center to go with Lively as they get a cohesive rotation and culture developed over the next 2-3 seasons.
Cato seems a bit tired and jaded about the Mavericks situation….and thought I was jaded.
