My main beef with the rankings are the absurd idea that the Clippers are better. Paul George and K. Leonard are great players. But they haven't stayed healthy for how many years?
On paper they could be champs doesn't matter.
If they don't have 70+ games from those two, they will fall to 15-20 in those power rankings.
I list them as 15 in my personal list. Because I don't see them as a viable contender. Because they don't stay healthy.
One can argue that the Grizzlies are or aren't. But it is just good they have some adults on the team. Without Ja Morant for the first 25 games, I don't know how they even make the playoffs. Yes, they are a good defensive team with Jackson, Smart and Adams. Absolutely.
But without Morant…I don't see them having enough offense to win much in the first 25 games. I think they will have to dig out of a hole. Like 7-18 is something I can see happening.
Kings are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA they get no respect at least not until they bring home a championship my top 8 out west are as follows Nuggets Suns Lakers Grizzlies Pelicans Kings Warriors Twolves/Clippers can't decide on that last one lol

Monte recently reminded fans that life isn't always "linear" and I haven't seen much evidence that his point was taken seriously. People assume Kings will move up to the #2 seed and go further this year. Hope so, but maybe not.🤔 Sometimes you're forced to take one step backwards before moving two steps forward. Go Kings!
