Monte Morris, Michigan’s 2013 Mr. Basketball and Flint Beecher standout, returned home on Friday, July 22, 2023.
After being traded by the Washington Wizards to the Detroit Pistons earlier in July, Morris has partnered with Pistons owner Tom Gore, who is a Flint native and founder of the FlintNow foundation, to unveil a new basketball court at Durant Park.
For Morris, this is a welcome homecoming.
