John Trapp loses $5 to Wilt Chamberlain as he bets against Wilt’s ability to swish a 4th 3-point hook shot in a row during a 1972 shoot-around practice.

Wilt lowkey sounds similar to Jordan

“Keep the 5 bucks, bring me your female relatives” -wilt, probably

Wilt could never comfortably hit hook shots in a game. Had a very outdated technique, even for the 70s. Compare it to Kareem’s sky hook.

People really talk about this guy like he just happened to be tall and played against midgets

  5. fishfishfish1345

look kinda fake how easily he does it.

Reminds me of that full court commercial with LeBron (it’s actually fake tho)

Some 7 footer is going to master this

John Trapp has a mustache and beard worthy of a dwarf! Red Rock Blasters all around!

  8. Ruroni17

He does it so effortlessly too. It’s like he barely even tosses the ball

Wilt may be the only guy from the 60s that you can drop into todays NBA as is and he’d still be pretty dominant right away.

His athleticism was just beyond stupid. I can’t imagine what kind of superhuman he’d be with modern tech. He also had a pretty solid jumper which a lot of people don’t realize.

Wilt is one of the coolest people to ever live, the definition of a legend.

    Jordan/LeBron/Kareem/Wilt

Those are on the Mt. Rushmore of the NBA imo. Guys who defined their era and stood head and shoulders above everyone else.

Arguably the greatest athlete to ever live. People aren’t supposed to have that size, with that skill, with the ability to play 47 minutes every night.

Don’t know why this is shocking to me, but John Trapp is still alive

    Dude is a mythological creature

Back when 5 dollars could get you a house

With all the conversation around body count I’ve seen lately. Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Wilt Chamberlain haha. Also an interesting opposite with AC Green, another Laker…who was a known virgin and an advocate for abstinence until marriage.

Theres being Cool, and then theres Wilt-Fucking-Chamberlain Cool

just remember how a 35 year old wilt got pissed and busted young kareems milwaukee in the 1972 western conference finals…he had a busted knee and torn acl recently and still dropped 20 rebounds and blocked the unblockable skyhook twice

  19. dwadefan45

Why didn’t he do this for his free throws?

  20. NBA_H8er

Would have made a great milkman or plumber if he didn’t go into basketball…

They have this shit but not the 100 point game??? 🤔🤔🤔

Nba players skill when nobody is guarding them is next level I seen Matt Barnes hit 20 corner 3s in a row warming up before a game i wouldn’t be surprised by shit a nba player does when the clock not ticking

  23. VegaGT-VZ

Dont laugh, $5 was about a week’s pay for the avg NBA player then.

  24. throwaway__rnd

Most underrated player, and he’s already extremely highly rated.

  25. Libertines18

I really think wilt is maybe the only athlete ever that would’ve been better if has a Time Machine and brought into todays game

Modern coaching would’ve helped him a lot

  26. throwaway__rnd

Wilt was in better shape at 50 then some players currently active in the league right now
