The Toronto Raptors Have Another HUGE Decision To Make..

The Toronto Raptors have gone through some major changes in the offseason but all signs are pointing towards the front office still wanting this team to be competitive for the upcoming season, especially with the team not being able to use their 2024 first round pick which is only top 6 protected. As a result it is going to be down to new head coach Darko Rajakovic to get the best out of this group of players to maximize the on court product.

This going to be the first time in quite a while where there is not a clear starting five for the Raptors to go with at the start of the season after the team lost such a key player in Fred VanVleet who left for the Houston Rockets in free agency. Rajakovic iss now going to be facing the huge decisions on how he is going to ise his players.

Many conversations have been has in particular about who the starting point guard is going to be after Masai Ujiri’s front office used the mid-level exception to sign former Los Angeles Lakers guard, Dennis Schorder. It could seem like he is here to start, but to maximize talent it could make more sense to play Scottie Barnes out of position, and use him at the 1 as the player has experience playing there from his time in college with Florida State.

Fans are conflicted about what the best course of action is for this position and it is going to be incredibly difficult for the coaches to figure out, but today on Amateur Hour Sports Jacob Gramegna goes through why he believes the choice for the position is clear.
