This only puts more pressure on wemby to produce, your asking him to put up 20 a night ?
I actually think Sochan should come off the bench so Wemby can play PF and Collins or someone else can start at as a traditional center
Would put t.jones, vassel, k.jonhson, wemby and Collins as starting 5 imho…wemby automatically add def presence…(and add scoring as well ofc) Sochan for k.johnson as first rotation would make the team more balance no?…the other (nuclear) option if you want sochan to start would be to trade k.jonhson for an elite/all star point guard…but I rather keep the young guys and develop than trade k.jonhson
if he came off the bench i think he would still be in the game in the 4th to help with some offense and defense
Its tough creating a starting 5 with Devin, Wemby, Sochan.. AND Keldon.
I hope the Spurs wont fk around for too long. Just tell Keldon as soo as possible "You're our 6th man, you'll get the shots and minutes and you're finishing games" to keep him motivated.

I think it will depend on matchups. If they play OKC and they start Chet at center then they should go with Wemby at center. If they go up against the Sixers or Nuggets then I'd start Wemby at PF.
Keldon shot badly at the end of the season cause all eyes were on him. He was the only threat. He isn’t supposed to be the first offensive option, u said it yourself. But if we put him as a third offensive option, he will shine more than the previous season. And he’s a far better shooter than Sochan. Don’t even try to make this comparison looks like it’s close. With Sochan, we’re going to be better on defense, with Keldon, we’ll do better on offense. I would like us to put WEMBY at Center through the season to see if we’re more efficient on offense with WEMBY, Sochan & Keldon playing at the same time.
It definitely seems like KJ understands the possibilities and rewards of coming off the bench. He definitely sees the bigger picture KJ seems like a good smart dude. I think pop is going to experiment a lot still with the lineups next year especially the first half of the season. Then we'll see really where KJ is going to help us the most along with Sochan. I'm a big Jeremy Sochan fan but I also like to keep it real. Sochan still has a lot to prove offensively wise. I hope he worked on every aspect of the game this off season because he's far from his potential. He really doesn't have the ball handling skills or court vision yet to be bringing the ball up just yet. He's definitely a year or so from that. I think we'll see some flashes of it this season though. That lineup you called out on yourself is definitely a 2K lineup brotha 😅 but it would be a fun lineup to see. We just aren't there yet and honestly Sochan still has to prove he's there when the time comes. I love Sochan drive,love for the game and love for the Spurs I want him to be a star. I think KJ though could definitely be that Manu type player he has the personality like you implied. Either way I'm so excited for this season it needs to hurry up. Go Spurs Go!!

I agree. It sucks cause KJ is still my fav spur… but it really does make so much sense. Imagine KJ, TJ, and a few others coming off the bench… that’s like saying a whole other starting lineup that we had from this past season. Which means so much depth
I don't think it will work having kj coming off the bench but they should try it.
That’s how we beat teams in the past – with our second unit. Keldon, Malaki, Payne, Cissoko, and Bassey will destroy most second units and immediately give us a 10-point lead.
And that’s not even mentioning Champagnie, Mamu, etc.
I agree sochan has to start but honestly wemby might be a better fit at the 3 at least for this season and have sochan at the 4 still.
I think it's really dumb, the main reason people think Keldon should go to the bench is cus of his defense. What's stupid is everyone also thinks Devin is so much better of a defender, realistically Keldon is actually good on defense like just as good as Devin look at the advanced stats he was rated just as highly a defender as DV when the team was actually healthy. Not to mention offensively EVERYONE struggled when KJ was on the bench yes even Devin. I want every spurs fan to go back and look at all of Devins best games almost none of them happened unless KJ put up 25+ or 30+. TLDR Keldon is the engine that keeps the offense going take him out of the starting lineup and the offense and defense suffers

So many people under rate KJ and put DV as more of a future. I love both guys. DV is good But KJ, Dude is a clutch at times and above avg role player. Give the man some credit for being nice and working hard to improve each season. #GoSpursGo

My lineup is:
Tre – Vassell – Keldon – Sochan – Wemby
They should start him for the first half of the szn to help take the scoring load off wemby, then one he’s comfortable have keldon off the bench
