League tells everyone to stop dicking around. Dame confirms he is a professional. Miami keyboard warriors furiously developing updated grand unified theory of leverage. More at 11.

This is just hilarious at this point.

Whatever leverage Lillard and his agent thought they had is now completely gone. This should speed up the process

I’m petty enough that I want to go laugh at every commenter that said the league should get involved to force the trade, but I just don’t care enough about those fools to actually go search for them.

Lmaooooo Shams conveniently left out “though not entirely consistent” when reading this

  6. StudentLoanSlave1

They’re gonna have to back track so hard to get out of Portland. They dug in and now the league is mad

Lame Lillard. Went from fan fav to a joke.

  8. ChurchOf69

Trade his ass to the wizards for a roast beef sandwich

  9. Village-Of-Wolves

Looks like other teams trade offers are back on the menu boys!

This has gotta be embarrassing for dame bro lmao

At this point, just play with four uber talented guards on the roster.

Dame screwed himself with this whole thing: nobody’s gonna trade him help for Anfernee Simons, nobody’s gonna help him get traded to Miami and nobody’s going to trade a king’s ransom to get him off the Blazers.

So he might as well just play for us.

I was told by miami fans that dame is the most stubborn player in the league and he would not play for another team

I half expect that the ultimate outcome of all this is that no trade is consummated during the offseason, Goodwin gets fired in favor of someone else for how this has all gone down (is that Rich Paul’s music I hear?) and Dame ends up in Miami in December after players who signed contracts this summer become available to trade.
