The nba had legal right to veto the trade since they owned the hornets at the time, I don’t believe they can actually veto a trade just cuz. If they do, this is the last straw I have with the nba under silvers reign

You nailed it. The Blazers flat out lied to Dame and now they think they can do whatever they want. Yes, he's under contract, you're about to find what happens when a team deals with a superstar in bad faith. The Blazers promised to get Dame help and then did what everybody knew they were going to do and screw Dame over. What they didn't expect was that Dame wouldn't cave to what was convenient for them. Now they want their have their cake and eat it too. Cronyn is trying to look like the wheeler-dealer and Dame won't play along.
What really disappoints me is how the league is reacting. It's like NOW the league wants to make an example of someone. Not a guy to acts like the league is his personal concierge like Harden or KD, but Dame, the guy who never complained and a team first guy who was loyal and was deceived by his gm. Nice🙄
