EVERY conspiracy (anti-Heat in this one) has at least an ounce of truth to it. and I agree that Cronin got cornered so he had to CRY to Skeletor (Silver) to back him up. Cronin tried using his buddy WOJ as his mouthpiece, didnt work. Goodwin on his part should have kept quiet or say "my bad" because the message has already been sent to NOT trade for un "unhappy player". If there's a fine, who cares? The Heat got fined for tampering with the Lowry trade.
Miami had Lillard served to them on a silver platter, but they got greedy and tried to play games… Now they are shit out of luck. Good job idiots.

Nah fam you completely miss the point. What happened here was the NBA attempting to undercut his leverage to one team. You said it yourself, Dame didn't violate ANYTHING yet. He NEVER said he would NOT play. What the NBA did was undercut his NEGOTIATING power, because it didn't matter yet. What if it was just a negotiating tactic and he was full of crap the whole time just trying to put pressure on his organization……like EVERY other star does…..the NBA PRE-EMPTIVELY undercut his negotiating power. No contracts were violated or threatened to be violated. There was only suggested suspicion he would be unhappy.
Your only argument for this is that Adam Silver doesn't know this. I think that's foolish.

Goodwin might be new to doing this stuff publicly, but he's not new to the business. There's a reason he doesn't have much of a client list anymore.
