We aren’t giving up any picks and spurs aren’t swapping keldon for herro

In a perfect world we don’t have to trade with Miami, if we do, this is one of the better trades I’ve seen for it.
I just think OKC and SAS are more likely than not to say no
Blazersfan78
Honestly I think I would rather see Martin come to the blazers
Zombeatles
Seems like the kind of offer we’d need to get things moving, though it seems odd to involve OKC if their pick isn’t going to us. I like the young players we’d be getting, not as crazy about the quality of the Heat picks. Gotta add- I love getting Kyle Lowry, he’d be a fantastic mentor for Scoot and the rest of the team, and I’ve just personally always loved his hustle and leadership (despite the flopping).

Be prepared to get a lot of hate, but this looks pretty good to me. I doubt SA would be into it though
Awkward_dapper
Sending out Johnson for Herro and a couple seconds would be a huge L for SA
Cid_Darkwing
Don’t like taking on Johnson’s money that long—a secondary goal of this trade should be clearing the books (as much as possible) so we can go shopping the year *before* Sharpe gets paid. Ideally you want your window to be something to the effect of: 24-25: tanking year 25-26: play-in year 26 offseason: extend Sharpe, sign/trade for 3rd star (rent cap space for assets if none worthy) 26-27: “team no one wants to play in the first round” 27 offseason: extend Scoot, Sharpe extension kicks in. 27-28: surprise conf. Finals run 28 offseason: win now trade w/Miami’s draft assets. 28-29 through 30-31/31-32: title window w/both Scoot and Sharpe on second contracts and star 3 either at the end of his second deal or start of his third.

Terrible.

Sorry, but what would motivate the Spurs to do this deal?
bagooli
I think yall need your internet access revoked until the season starts
TheCentralFlame
I love the outside the box thinking, I would give up additional blazer assets if the value can be better matched up.
mightyboognish32
OKC definitely says no
Bigdadyk
Miami says no your not getting 4 1st for Dame The only thing i see is Martin going to okc for our pick back
Kra3m3r
So we introduce a 3rd team and still only get Miami picks in return? Wtf
Cardis103
Yeah but the spurs front office would never accept this in a million years
trailcasters
Nooooo.
Blazers need better picks attached. What’s the point of bringing in 2 more teams if we still end up with only Miami’s garbage picks? Give US the OKC FRP, not Miami.
Spurs have no reason to do this. They’ve invested in Keldon & I have a hard time seeing Herro fit in Spurs Culture.
Not sure why Thunder would get involved in this for just Caleb Martin?
Heat are getting too much back for crappy picks, role players, an expiring Lowry & 2 young guys with potential.
