Onyeka Okongwu might just be the most underrated center in the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks #6 overall pick from the 202 NBA draft has been quietly improving over the course of the last few seasons, and he’s poised for a breakout.
Okongwu is the perfect pairing for Trae Young, especially with how pick and roll-heavy their offense is seemingly going to be under head coach Quin Snyder, and his defensive abilities make him a much-needed asset for a team that’s struggled to hold up on that end.
Onyeka Okongwu’s offense has more than you think too, with him utilizing some veteran techniques to help Trae get to his spots, and his mid range development might be a game-changer for the Hawks.

i hate this watching modern nba always doing illegal screens. 90s screening was perfect with stockton malone as the best example. guards know how to wait and use screens. modern day guards just use athleticism and speed with the risk of commiting illegal screens
