In September we can have the real conversations. I'm not a fan of this signing but I get why they did it, would rather have Banton but it is what it is.     2 Min and 7 min a game last year. Come on man this is a garbage signing. This player should be coaching not playing. We don't need guys in the locker room… no more "talk players" no more "motivation players" or "locker room players" – a sports psychologist hired might be $100 K a year, maybe a top one $200 K a year. Or go by the Hour. What we need are PLAYERS not Idols and NICE GUYS on the bench. Right now this doesn't look like a great deal. We are ranked 25th. How does this help us? Do we need this player to train our players? motivate them? Is he going to have a Lazarus Season? Is this new guy gonna be packaged up in some trade deal later? How much value can you ascribe to a deal with a veteran on a $3.2 M contract with small production numbers? THIS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. ZERO.

    As frustrating as it may look from the outside looking in, It'll all make sense soon. We can't skip steps right now and we are building a solid foundation for years to come. I think we will still be competitive but not on a championshipip level this season. I noticed we are not sacrificing any huge pay contracts this offseason because maybe Masai and Bobby arr waiting for the right moment/players to arrive. They havent seen a good deal yet and we dont know whats been said behind the scenes on an executive level. However, one thing that's a lost art is building the fundamentals and player development. This whole season will be about DEVELOPMENT, individually and as a team. Under Darko's helm and his assistant coaches. They all cry for DEVELOPMENT. Our players need to improve and find their roles and be comfortable with their roles within the system. I'm not worried.

    3.2 is very specific. I remember Masai resigned FVV at exactly $84 mill so there'd be enough money for Giannis (obv he won a championship). Thad and Temple's contracts will combine for $11.3 million which can land a solid player. There's for sure something going on here. Maybe another Poetl esque trade at the deadline. Masai always has a plan, that's why he signed Khem Birch to that deal.

    You are one of those fabs payong attention to U.S based media rankings? Where were you when they rank us terrible during thr bubke year and right after Tampa tank? What happened then? We are better than paper on many kf those s teams ESPN ranked ahead of us. I don't buy one bit that Knicks, Nets, Atl, Chicago is better than us. We have a better bench right now than Miami, Philly etc. The only issue right now is that we needs guys like O G & Scottie to start scoring more off the dribble & break down defense and Pascal & Scottie to be decent 3 pt shooter.

    3.2 million on a 1 year deal is small on the new cba . Hes there for depth also if otto goes down .

    The best part about this signing is that it opens a network to younger players that have relationships with these vets. Raps have never signed this many American players in one FA. It's word of mouth marketing. Guaranteed we become more attractive in FA in the years to come.
