  1. I don't understand this whole "big market" thing. It's a national sport. We have internet. The advertisers are huge multinational corporations. The money's gonna be the same, viewership and game attendance are gonna be the same, there's enough "gentlemen's clubs" in NBA cities big or small*…where's the advantage?

Seems to me, it's sports media guys in LA and New York who project the superiority of "big markets".

*-except in Salt Lake City, which has tried to overcome this handicap by focusing on players who were mostly concerned with playing basketball.

  2. Very surprising that a Miami fan is totally OK with players requesting trades to the handful of destinations that stars want to go to, Miami being one of them.

  3. Cleveland can send Donnavin to NY but the Nets. Cavs get back Mikal Bridges, Dorian Finney-Smith and two 1st Round picks

  4. David has no issue with this because he's a Heat fan and damn near every time there's a trade request the Heat are on the player's list of teams. It benefits his team so he doesn't care.

  5. Regardless of your view on trade requests, Austin Rivers is 100% correct on the CBA. More teams have not used the MLE than have

  6. Maybe not bring a Miami homer in to yak about players demanding trades to…. Miami. Shocking he’s not opposed to this type of player entitlement and empowerment.
