You would think that players would have learned from the Ja Morant situation yet here we are. At least he wasn’t on social media showing it off or anything, but still, bad look given what the league just went through with Ja Morant.

what would be the point of having a gun if it wasn’t loaded tbf

I’m so confused with American laws. Are you allowed to have guns or not?

  3. HoopsHistoryGuy

So you can search someone’s car in CA due to weed smell when weed is legal? It’s not like weed only smells when you use it, if you’re going to a dispenserary gotta take it home some how?

  4. Dr_Edge_ATX

Jesus christ can everyone stop acting like Ja invented guns

He a rich public figure in LA. To be fair, having a loaded gun in your vehicle is probably a pretty smart thing for him to do.

    Just sucks he got caught

Pretty sure it was lil Wayne who said, I’m the one with the money so I aint the one with the gun . Like bro just pay some security if you really think you’re gonna get robbed.

Honestly just having a gun shouldn’t be a problem. Millions of Americans drive around with loaded guns in their vehicles because it’s part of our second amendment right. I didn’t read the article, idk if he was threatening people or flashing it around like a toy like Ja, but if he’s in trouble for “having a loaded gun” that’s honestly bullshit

A mere coffee could have prevented this.

Ja Morant: “It should have been me, not him!”

man this isn’t even close to the ja situation at all. like come on

    >You would think that players would have learned from the Ja Morant situation

Not particularly. Ur bugging if you think young rich black NBA players view that situation in the same light as your average r/nba redditor

Reddit be like, just rely on LAPD for protection Mr. tall, strong, tatted-up, intimidating looking black man!

Can anyone explain to me how this country is so in love with guns but as soon as NBA players have them it’s literally worse than Hitler

  16. politicians_are_evil

little known secret in nba is that many players pack firearms. the team puts them in gun cases while they practice and play.

  17. falloutranger

To be fair this would have been fine in like 40 other states.

  18. WernerHerzog69420

What does this have to do with Ja? I’m sure a decent amount of NBA players own guns.

  19. Personal-Noise-8632

Man this ain’t that bad to me, the 2nd amendment gives us the right to bear arms.

My issues is that you should know your state laws, idt any state allows travel w a loaded gun.

Not an NBA concern like Ja’s initially was, but will face NBA sanctions.

I def wouldn’t get caught lacking in LA, as a NBA player or any other celebrity, that’d be shame on you

Ja Morant was never arrested. Players have been arrested for guns before, never got big suspensions

When we called you the Folgiers Soldier, you weren’t supposed to take it literally.
