1-on-1 with Darko Rajaković on representing Serbia, building with Scottie, Gradey and O.G

Toronto Raptors head coach sat down with our friend Toni Horvat and opened up about the Raptors job, assembling his coaching staff, his expectations for Gradey Dick, O.G Anunoby, Markquis Nowell, the team overall, and why Scottie Barnes is a player worth building around.

  1. Man, I wasnt aware of this interview. Thanks for sharing a translated version. Im excited for more lives and videos from this channel

  2. Rob… Is this front office really letting Jeff Dowtin walk…
    What are you hearing?

  3. Coach said scotties passing reminds him of Jokic (unselfish and desire to work) and yet there are many people and some in the media call SB a bust 😂 No, I will not let any of them walk back on SB comments once he becomes a dominant player in the NBA.

  4. Great interview. Pascal needs to be traded his iso game and need for super max will cause friction and tension. Get a deal done Masai. Can’t wait to see Darko develop these guys.

  5. we are open to foreigners here because it is they who make us strong. both sides of my family are celtic/american immigrants. my dad stayed american although he lived most of his life in canada. welcome to canada, darko.

  6. I told people he was going to use Barnes like Denver uses Jokic. Barnes is not going to be the PG like many people think. Dennis is going to be the starting PG which is why he said he came here to start. Scottie is going have the ball in his hands, and he’s going to be pull the strings like Jokic but he isn’t going to be bringing the ball up the court. People forget how good Dennis is cutting to the basket without the ball. All these guys are going to play off Scottie with him playing quarterback role. I’m just interested in seeing how this works with Pascal who we know like’s the ball in his hands. Pascal isn’t a guy who is going to cut to the basket, or come off screams for shots like Jamal Murray. He actually needs the ball in his hands because his game involves pounding the rock and getting to the basket. This is why he uses the spin move so much. It’s going be very interesting to see how this plays out with pascal not having ball in his hands as much.

  7. Suns just signed another center for 2 years (5 centers on the team)… Tells me Ayton’s time as a Sun is minutes away from being a distant memory… Ayton is broken emotionally, and has to move on…

  8. Excellent interview, though I was surprised not to hear a single question about the team’s best player: Pascal Siakam.

  9. Just when I was grumbling to myself about Pensare deprivation over the past couple of weeks, you come out with this.

Who would have guessed that my favourite Raptor channel just happens to be a compatriot of the new Raptor head coach and that the coach would vindicate much of what you have been preaching over the past months?

Soyanara iso hero ball. Aloha team ball.

I am along for the ride…

  10. Excited for the new season to start! Kind of a "meh" signing with Temple, but whatever. As long as we play a better brand of basketball I'm happier.

  11. Thank you so much for this. This was a great interview. I am rooting for O.G. and the Raptors

  12. Robert, my eyes are too old, and the subtitles started to blur. Seems like a very good interview, but father time got the best of me, lol.
