It feels like espn is on life support with so many team/sport/conference specific networks and streaming. Couldn’t tell you the last time I watched anything on cable let alone a particular channel.

Unpopular opinion but when you’re a public figure and represent a company like ESPN, you’re responsible for your image. The video was a bad look. Of course he wasn’t doing anything wrong technically. But fucking Disney was not going to put up with that shit.

Honestly, PP needs some help. Bringing a prostitute to a live stream and tweaking out on camera is probably not the best way to spend your retirement. For all the shit that Ja Morant is getting, PP should be getting twice that. Dude is a grown man still doing dumb shit.

As someone who grew up watching and idolizing PP, he is my #1 favorite player all-time and it’s not even close. But seriously, his personal life is just cringe as fuck.

Paul showed up to the KG live stream GONE. Some of it was funny, but all of it was sad. The live stream with the strippers wasn’t so crazy because at least he wasn’t at work (although still representing the company and Disney of course can decide if they wanna employ someone who spends their free time doing what Paul does).
But when you show up to WORK like that and your co host keeps having to re-direct you and remind you that everything you’re saying is being broadcast immediately, you need some help. Hope he gets it

There are extremely few jobs that exist where you wouldn’t be fired for publicly posting what Paul did. With fame and money also generally comes a massive public spotlight, and whether you like it or not, your name is attached to your employer. He deserved to get canned for it, it was stupid and something he should have just texted his friends, who I assume wouldn’t have put him on blast.
All that said, I’m sure Paul Pierce is doing just fine financially. He should probably stop showing up to public appearances fucked up like that KG live stream, but that will catch up with him eventually if he keeps doing it.
