All the high flying athletes have them. Pure fast-twitch muscle, no extra slow-twitch bulk.
I was born with big calves (thanks, dad), and while I get an occasional comment on what exercises I do for them — which is none — I’d love if instead I had a 45″ vertical. Sure, I could probably walk across America in one go, but I’m hardly the fastest sprinter or highest jumper.
