Nothing sports related, and I mean NOTHING, boils my blood more than the David Blatt timeout fiasco. Ref even saw it and decided not to say anything. Not only would we have gone farther in the playoffs, Lebrron doesn't make it to the finals 9 straight years. So much would have been different from 1. single. call.
That was nikola’s revenge for the punch
I remember being so mad at dudes hyping this up. Talking about how we need to build a winning culture. None of those dudes are in the league anymore, and Luka is a generational player….
For the record, I never thought Lebron was ever coming here, but when the Hawks resigned Joe Johnson back that infamous offseason, it broke my heart. I still believe if we got Joe Johnson that offseason, we are lifting at least 1 more banner during those years.
Personally it wouldn’t have mattered imo our front office at that time they would’ve blown the pick anyway
I like to see all Chicago sports teams succeed, but I'm tired of the Bulls being the unluckiest team. I mean this is the only team without a superstar talent, I instantly think of the Bulls getting hoed in all these draft lotteries consistently even when they were tanking……….they've truly have been the Bad News Bulls.
It was back to back years of bad luck idk who else remembers but 2019 draft lottery we had the 4th best odds to win it and then dropped down to 7 🤦♂️. Lost out on Zion, Ja, and Garland
Don't forget Sean Killdraftpick
Just another good example that highlights the main problem in all the main professional sports: Teams are incentivised to lose.
Why do we accept a structure that is so completely corrosive to competition??? Stop rewarding bad teams with better draft picks. Every team should be trying to win every single game without exception. Imagine how much more enjoyable that would be to watch and follow.
Slow news day huh?
And it's funny because i used to be a HUGE Mirotic fan too 😭. But i DEFINITELY hold a grudge againt him for balling the F out 😂
Garpax didn’t know how to tank right
I remember one of the guys I know was extremely happy when Bulls went on a winning streak and even went to a couple of games and we got into an argument over what did it matter if we won 5-10 games more instead of trying to get the best talent. Season was gonna be a loss anyways. I still remember those 2-3 years were the only time I hoped Bulls lose because how good the talent was coming in and the rules were about to change for the draft.
You mean, he robbed the Bulls of another 7th pick?
Shout out to Niko!
Mirotic was nice ! ! !
Man, that "what could have been" thought of Bron and Wade coming to Bulls gets me every time…. thinking about that starting lineup of Rose, Wade, Bron, Bosh, Noah woulda been killer!! OMG
I forgot about Mirotic. He was balling.. Portis blew it on this one.. they probably could've done something better than tanking if they started season together.
Unbelievable, I've tried to forget this! Damn you! 😂
Why did you have to bring that back?! 😢
Won't lie, Niko on the Bulls now would be epic.
Christaino Felicio was the GOAT of that era 😂
