    A few thoughts I have:

    * The Cs were a very good team last year on the whole, but the stats are being carried by a hot start and don’t convey how poor the end of the season was, relatively speaking. Look at how cold the shooting was in the last month of the regular season!

    * The transition defense was strong but the half-court D wasn’t there as much for the team.

    * The playtype breakdown is pretty fascinating. The team is as a whole very efficient and decently balanced. However, there’s a distinct lack of a P&R game for the team. Per NBA’s [playtype stats](https://www.nba.com/stats/players/roll-man?CF=TEAM_ABBREVIATION*E*Bos&SeasonType=Regular%20Season), Horford and RWill combined for a total of 1.8 P&Rs a game. This has gotta change when Pingus gets plays with the Cs, though, since he featured in almost 3 P&Rs a game for WAS and is clearly strong with that sorta game.

    * The total lack of assisted layups and the very low RIM/FT attempt shares is pretty frustrating to see. The variance of 3 point shooting, no matter how good the team is with them, can be much harder to overcome in comparison to the far more efficient and reliable layups and free throws that come from a lot of drives.

    * The transition offense numbers are kind of poor. The relative transition offensive rating after stops on defense were just in the 57th percentile. Somehow, it seems like the Cs offense can get better if the team improves in this area.

    Lots more to consider here!
