How tf have I never seen this?? Insane pass.
FallenLemur
Even Mo Pete was a little shocked it got to him
hipxhip
What the fuck, I’ve never seen this. This is a crazy pass.
ridemooses
Pretty much blind, behind the back pass, through the paint? Nah, that’s wild.

I loved watching this team as a kid with both Vince and Mo Pete. Didn’t win too much but it was always a fun watch.
TreChomes
What’s crazy to me is he didn’t bounce it. Just straight up zipped it to him

Even outside of dunking, I think Vince Carter had the best highlight reel of all time. My hottest personal take is that he has top 5 talent in NBA history.
so-cal_kid
People always say that someone like Shaq didn’t work hard enough to maximize their talent but I still believe that Vince is one of the bigger wastes of talent in league history. Dude had insane natural abilities and athleticism (obviously). Averaged 27-5-4 on good efficiency in his 3rd year in the league and then basically never approached those numbers again until he got his trade to NJ. And even after that 1st season in NJ he started to coast again. But when I see plays like this I wonder how good he coulda been if he had been 100% locked in.

thank you for posting. I have watched tons of highlights over the years but I’ve never seen this one
grapedinosour
VCs assist numbers don’t show how good a passer he was. He would only average around 3-4 per game but they were often some of the highest degree of difficulty passes I’d ever seen.
Dtoodlez
Man do I feel lucky to have been a raptors fan as a young kid. Vince was amazing.
Ok_Hornet_714
I would love to hear Vince explain his thought process on that play
Like how did he decide THAT was the best option on the play and that we could make that pass
PlacetMihi
The pass was so bewildering that it froze the guy rotating *to* Mo Pete 💀
rake2204
Vince has a slew of randomly amazing passes out there.
Great highlight thanks for posting. Still feel like this dude doesnt get the respect be deserves.

What a bullet pass

Show the peja pass if you want behind the back
ThriceAlmighty
Another day in the life of White Chocolate. It was either magical or in the stands.
powerserg1987
The man a literal walking highlight reel
bbqyak
Nice post. A throwback I actually haven’t seen for once.
GapRevolutionary2845
Passing is important, but it also requires players to work together. It’s a skill that seems to be missing from the field of play now that it’s a thing of the past
r4ytracer
Reminds me of iguodalas behind the back pass at the corner three spot to David Lee. Crazy catch too
goodgriefmyqueef
Most exciting player of all-time during his brief peak. If you there, you know
Sti8man7
For reasons obvious, behind the back passes are rarely strong nor fast. This is a bullet.
