  1. If could create a player it would literally just be current pg13 with young pgs athletic ability and health. That would literally be unstoppable

  2. This clown really got Murray better then Pg and brown 🤣🤣🤣I can’t with this guy

  3. Seeing players like PG and Jamal in the 12-18 range shows how deep our league is currently. Elite talent everywhere.

  4. Now that you mention transition points being Brown's b&b, Mazula's lack of defensive focus and instead focusing on offense probably didn't help generate transition points for the two J's.

  5. Tatum and Brown have basically been what Kawhi and PG were supposed to be. Always at least in the ECF, just didn’t finish the job in 2022. I think the Porzingis move will put them right back in the finals with another chance to get it done.

  6. “Winning matters” but Jaylen brown, PG, and trae make the list and Jrue, draymond, and wiggins don’t… The argument for Bam being here was looking beyond the stats, but if you look beyond the stats some of these guys don’t belong here

  7. PG being 18 while missing a ton of the season + playoffs while Ja Morant missing the list entirely because of off court issues seems inconsistent. Ja had a better individual season and led his team as a first option to be 2nd in the West, the tougher conference.

  8. Is Paul George's age a concern for those who are fans of him? He's 33 and will be 34 by the end of next season. His game isn't as predicated on exposiveness as guys like Westbrook or Ja, but curious to hear anyone's thoughts.

  9. its kind of rare to hear Jason criticize PG for not getting to 60% true shooting. A few days ago, he was applauding the celtics for signing Jaylen Brown to a supermax deal, saying one of his strenghts was having 58% true shooting last season. 🤨

  10. murrays a gamer and played v well in the last post szn but id still rather have jb.

I get that winning is important but shouldn't we look beyond just last year? he did with paul george. jb has won much more consistently and his two way impact i think contributes more to winning. esp his defensive versatility when he's locked in. he had good possessions on bam vs heat and shut down harden in last yrs run for example. from a scheme perspective i just think he's a more valuable player when it comes to winning in the playoffs. jb carried the Cs in the first round last yr and boston played only 5 games less than denver did. also murray benefits from playing along side one of the leagues best facilitators which jason did acknowledge but for a second imagine what jb would do next to jokic. jb n murray were drafted in the same yr and jb has outshined him outside of 2 hot playoff runs during which he was still a liability defensively.

nuggets won last yr but i think we should evaluate impact on winning beyond 1 playoff run not even a full season. or admit to some recency bias. at jamals best hes v close to jb but we've honestly rarely seen his best whereas jb is plays close to his his peak consistently.

  11. I genuinely believe Mazzula was more of the cause of JBs playoff downfall than anything because when the enemy team takes away a players weapons, its the coachs job to help create plays to break down the defenses or to create off ball openings for JB. Maybe even using JB as a decoy so he doesnt have to handle the ball in tight defensive momments. I know its easier said than done but its something they HAVE to do.
