Feel bad for him but this was always a questionable re-signing.

  2. eagles1990

Goddamn we didn’t even get to training camp yet

  3. patelt91

What does this mean for our cap space? Do we have like a “medical exemption” or something for whatever we’re paying him?

  4. Chief_JD

unfortunate for him but good thing we were carrying 5 centers

  5. Sneezyf30

I think they’ll probably waive him, he doesn’t make much and this injury will probably take him all year to recover

Sucks to see anyone get hurt but this is a lucky break for the Sixers roster construction

    Sooo
what happens next? Will he remain on the roster and take up a spot when he’s not going to play next season? If he gets waived he will still keep his salary I would assume or how does that work? Ik that in the NFL there’s something called injury settlement when a player gets waived because of it. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Bamba punching the air in excitement right now

We need Harrell to pit Giannis and the ladder against each other. It gives us a distinct advantage against the Bucks. People don’t see this.

Welp, better add 3 more centers to the roster!

I am sad for him that he got injured. I will leave it at that, glad he got paid and hope he will be ok though

  11. I feel bad for him and awful for saying this but this may actually be good news for us

Remember when the clowns here ripped Morey for signing both Harrell and Bamba? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

    Sixers center injury quota met?

    (Highly wishful thinking)

I just fell to my knees in the ladder section of a Home Depot

Better sign someone quick, we’re gonna be slim on center minutes this year.

He was a shell of himself last year already, he had no burst. His career might be over. It sucks for him, hopefully he managed his money well. I will admit I was wrong about him, I had no idea he had slowed down so much from his 6th man of the year season.

Well, seasons over now were fucked

This is honestly sad, always hate offseason injuries. The team will be fine with Mo and Embiid, Harrell wasn’t getting that much minutes anyway with Mo and Embiid hogging the majority of the minutes.

Mo is going to blossom into the superstar we all know he is and should be if it wasn’t for Orlando dropping the ball once again with superstar centers. I honestly think Mo could start with Embiid. Mo’s numbers has been elite vs guards, forwards, and bigs last season but nobody notices it because the Magic were playing politics and tanking with BB (the worst p/m on the Magic for the whole season while Mo was the best for the majority of the season and best TS% but BB was getting mins and Mo was only getting minutes after BB really fails and the team goes down 10+). Mo Bamba is a still developing young player that gets way more blame than necessary compared to his similar aged counterparts and should be starting on most teams. The guy was top 10 defensive player according to BOXDLEBRON and LEBRON 2 seasons, he was top 5 shooting center 2 years, and this year he became a better and more switchable defender, while also adding more playmaking and mid range ability to his game. The guy is a true stabilizer for this team on the offensive and defensive end. I also think he elevates his team on both ends also.

Mo is the difference maker for the Sixers, I truly think he will complete their process. Tyrese is also the perfect guard for Mo’s style, that fast pace, good passing, and shooting guard that will be able to feast on the PNR’s with a permanent lob threat big like Mo. When Tyrese peneterates Mo will always be an option on any area of the court, and is a capable cutter also. Mo is a true 3 level big, and true lock defender. Everybody on the Magic sub talks about Wendell’s defense but for 2 years in a row Mo has better numbers compared to Wendell on the defensive end. Mo just doesn’t get the credit. Mo will be unlocked on the Sixers with this elite core, and I can see a future in which Embiid (who was Mo’s mentor for the majority of his early career) may leave and Mo replaces him. Mo and Embiid also work fine together imo, it will be similar to the Wendell and Mo combo, Mo will do the Wendell role, and Embiid can hold paint.

Mo is alot better than most believe and he will completely change this teams first round exit destiny towards a perennial championship team..

Sorry for Trez. I’ll be honest I really didn’t want him back but this sucks for any player.

Guess this takes him out for the season? Guaranteed contract?

  20. AggressiveLender

Not to be an asshole but at least we won’t have to see him play

  21. GuidanceLast4605

His vertical is going to be cut in half from zero inches to zero inches.
