The best thing about being a professional athlete who played long enough to get that second contract is that once you’re done whether that be year 8 or year 18 you’re young enough to do all the wild and expensive stuff that you wouldn’t enjoy doing at 50.
Enter the league at 22 and then be retired out at 30 with 15MM in the bank and there’s almost nothing you couldn’t fulfill your time with that other 30’s individuals wouldn’t envy
