That’s not a non ideal situation for LeBron if you have rim protectors behind him.
People overlook just how beneficial shot blocking is in terms of reducing the responsibilities of perimeter defenders.
When you can focus on running your man off the outside shot because you have back line support it makes you look much better defensively.

AD lost his outside shooting touch because he bulked up to play the five. Go back and look at AD's upper body during the championship year. He looks lean and his shot looks smooth.
Maybe if you guys keep doubting Rob after commending him, and if you keep doubting Jaskson Haynes, maybe this will ball out and be incredibly good… Don’t give up without trying…

At the end of the day, it's about winning games. not saving feelings. History shows that AD at the 4 is way more efficient and lethal than AD at the 5. Not everybody is going to play the minutes they want. Step up your game if you want those minutes. Austin Reaves and DLO is enough 3 point shooting for the starting 5. AD 3 point percentage is better at the 4 also

I’ve been saying since he was signed he’ll start! He’s athletic, full of energy and young enough to coach up. Wouldn’t be surprised if he turns into a good defender for us and respected league wide. It does make since. The Warrior’s has everyone brainwashed. If Hayes can defend 3 through 5, screen and roll, back cut and stays active and aggressive on the offensive side it can work.
The Lakers want to keep AD healthy. He will get hurt playing Center all year. Both He and LeBron are going to sitting down a lot

U guys forget how good ADs defence was in playoffs easily the best defender in the league man if he could stay healthy hes an absolute shoe in for dpoty every year. He played horrendous in the playoffs but his defence as great as ever. AD needs to hold the paint making it a no go zone. If they get those perimeter defenders in place lowering outside % i dont care if its golden state warriors the lakers are winning with high % at the rim. And i absolutely love it the 3 ball wrecked the team game and physical basketball. With bron AD hayes rui reeves this teams getting to the hoop and gonna play physical. Cant wait.

Lineups are always things depending on different variables opponents, play style, or what players click together. We will see games with 3 guards 2 forwards, 2 guards 2 forwards 1 center, 1 guard 3 forwards 1 center.

The Lakers front office watched AD play center against Denver and still didn’t make it a #1 priority to get the center position taken care of🙄! AD if the Lakers are serious about winning #18 should not be the starting center!
