FRANKIE SMOKES LETS GO, WE ALL KNOW HOW WELL WE DID THE LAST TIME WE GOT A FORMER KNICKS PG THATS KNOWN FOR HIS DEFENSE!!! 🐝🐝🐝

    Mavs fan here.

Don’t get too excited. Franks offense is horrendous and should not be shooting the ball whatsoever.

His only saving grace is his defense. He’s a good guy but the offense wasn’t there in NY and it wasn’t here in Dallas. Best use case is for screens and slowing down fast breaks. Other than that, he’s gonna be riding your bench for most of the season

It appears that it’s a camp deal (with a small partial guarantee to incentivize that). Nothing wrong with trying him out, especially given who our camp bodies have been historically.

Our backup point guard right now is no one so sure.

So we are hoping Frankie Smokes can be the next DSJ? Interesting…

mitch kupchak masterclass 🔥🔥 more one year deals for dudes who’s career are in trouble for them to revitalize and leave next year

DSJ went from an awful defender to a defensive stud under the skillful tutelage of Clifford. Imagine how good Ntilikina can be.

We have a history of every french player we sign playing the best ball of their lives for one year and then shitting the bed so maybe this works
