That was a lot smoother than I expected it to beâŚand my expectations were like âNBA Live I hit the wrong buttonâ

I guess I used the word âjustâ pretty loosely lol but still a pretty smooth play.

Looks like the layup mechanic from NBA jam

Intresting to see if someone like Giannis would be able to do the same move but jumping just behind the 3pt line. We know some players are able to dunk it from the free throw line so I’d expect Giannis on a fastbreak to get at least near the rim so he can attempt a finger roll/layup worth 3 points.
redshoediary4
Shorter 3 point line
khashmiddy22
Giannis should give this a shot on a fast break from behind the line just once
paradoxofchoice
Do people still do finger roll layups anymore?
rake2204
This is a beautiful play no matter how you slice it but it’s probably worth noting it happened during the shorter line era (a uniform 22 feet).

2023 anuyticals: he passed up an open three. Is he stupid?

ManâŚsomeone I havenât heard in a while. I remember Eddie Jones having a killer jump shot in NBA Shootout 98.

I always do that in my dreams. It takes several seconds for me to land.

Eddie Jones was so smoove. The pre-dynasty 90’s lakers had a few fun players. Nick Van Exel too.

Crazy! I was at this game sitting right behind the bench, behind Shaq.
I always joke this was the night I coached the team. I kept telling Del to put Kobe in. Finally he turned and looked at me and asked ‘well who should I take out?’. I told him Fox. Next time out he did it!

Why donât players just fast break and take off before the 3 point line?

I have an irrational love for Eddie Jones and was more than a little bummed when LA moved him.

The lakers in the mid 90s rough. But then I look back and they only had like what 5 bad seasons before Kobe Shaq

Wasn’t sure what to expect but ooo man that was old school sweet.

Looks like those old nba live games when you accidentally hit the layup button instead of the shot button
wereusincodenames
I was despondent when I found out he was traded. Worked out well for the Lakers in the long run, but seemed devastating at the time.
