He got disrespected because he wasn't playing like he normally does, people are well within their right to say westbrick when he is literally building homes for the homeless in LA out of them. Westbrook is cool, I always liked his game when he was on the thunder with Durant, but you gotta look at it from all sides. The fans only see stats and what people do, its not possible for them to see some sort of power struggle when it comes to leading a team. If westbrook actually dropped off due to him not having control, then thats understandable, but from the outside nobody can be blamed for the reaction he got.
I couldn't count how many tight games the lakers blew because of poor execution down the stretch, don't get me wrong RWB is a HoF, a great leader goes 110% effort all the time, awesome locker room guy i get it, but he was also the reason they lost a handful of those games, lakers would have been in the 2-4 seed easily if they won those given how tight the standings was it was like 3rd to 10th seed only a couple of games apart. And his ft% dropped like crazy, turnover machine, airballing jumpshots or hitting the backboard , his mental state was totally destroyed in the lakers.. happy for him he's with the clippers and in LA still.
