Cade Cunningham is making it clear on the USA Select Team the impact that he can have on a team regardless of its experience level. His leadership and floor-generalship maximizes talent and gives his teams the opportunity to compete with anyone. Now, with more talent than the Detroit Pistons have potentially ever had on a roster he looks to make his return in this upcoming season and lead the rebuild into the Cade Cunningham era. My expectation is that they will exceed their projected win-loss record but more than anything be far more competitive than they should be even against the best of teams. Select teams got a tad bit more youth and athleticism on their side which to me really shows when you rewatch the scrim. When you go in with the mindset that Cade actually GOT an offer to be on the main USA roster it’s not that surprising that he preformed that great. It’s nice to see that Cade has been taking notes the whole time and is coming back even better than we believe.
