  1. And that with Rober Sarver getting players out of the team because of money. He give Luol Deng to Chicago for CASH, a pick 7 in the draft for cash. He didnt want to pay Joe Johnson and give him for Diaw for money reasons. Same with QRich, send him for free for a expiring contract. Then changing Marion for Shaq because he didnt want to pay him and Shaq was expiring contract. Also send Raja Bell and Diaw to Charlotte to save money in the trade…and give Rondo to Boston again for cash.

  2. “without further ado, let’s talk about nash”
proceeds to talk about an ad 🤦‍♂️

  3. Fun Fact: Nash and Ray Allen had one of the best back and forths on January 22, 2006. A double OT game where both hit clutch shot after clutch shot. One of the best games in NBA history imo (the highlights are a good watch)…….What else happened that night though? Kobe dropping 81 points lol.

  4. So becuz he was on a offense that lead in nerd stats and nerd efficiency meant he was goin to the HOF before Mike dantoni? No. If you say true shooting one more time 🤯🤯🤯 numbers numbers numbers but no results. The best offense outscored every team, Steve Nash team did not do that . He could never get to the finals so what was the value? Having good numbers for stat nerds. I guess… “if you watch the games” I see a lot of running around hunting for assist. No rebounding just shooting . I think you should look at the games and not basketball reference

  5. I’m sorry but I still don’t think he deserved mvp. It’s not that he wasn’t good it that other players deserved it more!

  6. Nash played in that D’Antoni system with elite talent and couldn’t get it done. He didn’t even get to the finals……..definitely overrated.

  7. To be honest I think Westbrook has become the most disrespected MVP ever. At the time he won the award in 2017, everybody loved him. Plays 1 year with LeScapeGoat and now everybody clowns him and his career

  8. “Like Westbrook” wow what a dog shit take my man, Westbrook was arguably robbed the year harden won it, and probably didn’t beat harden the following year, he’s deserving of an MVP, awful take

  9. I really wanted Steve Nash to win in 2007. Despite me not being born yet. If Steve Nash won a ring, everyone will say that Steve Nash is one of the greatest PGs of All Time.

  10. The NBA has never given the MVP award for great scoring, that is what the scoring title is for. Nash was clearly the MVP those seasons but when you have a strong and delusional fanbase like that of Kobe's, narratives tend to last to the point that people think it is true.

Side point, the whole narrative of Curry being a liability on defense is a lie. The numbers and the clips show otherwise, just because teams attack him because of his height does not mean he is a liability, he is just the weakest link of the team. Teams also want to tire him out and put him into foul trouble, think Houston 2019 game 6 or 2016 Finals game 6, because the Warriors are much less effiecient without him on the floor.

  11. Kobe Bryant averaged 35+ppg while making 1st Team All-Defense the only other player to do that post merger was Michael Jordan. Playing on a team with Chris Mihm, Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, Brian Cook, and Slava Medvedenko many who didn't stick around for years to come or were out of the league. With Kobe off the Floor the Lakers Had a 92.4 Off Rtg that is 8.7 points worse then the worst tean in the league. When Kobe was on the court the Lakers had the 3rd best offensive rating in the league. They don't win 25 games without Kobe. Unlike Yung Mustard i'm not 23 years old. I'm a millenial who actually watched all the games and that season. Whole TEAMS set out to stop Kobe Bryant. Nash didn't face that type of defensive attention and yet Kobe Averaged 43.4 ppg for a whole month in January If you take the 81pt game out he still Averaged 40.2 PPG in January. For Almost 2 Months from December 20, 2005 to February 7th 2006 Kobe Averaged 40 PPG Kobe Had 3 Streaks of 4 40+pt Games in a row including a streak of 5 40+pt Games. In the Last 9 Games of the Season Kobe Averaged 41.8 PPG on a 60.7 TS%. If you take into account pace the League Average in 06 was 90.5 That is slower than todays, or in 06 only 5 teams averaged over 100 PPG. Since you like nerdy statistics Kobe was in a 3 way tie for 1st in PER in 2006. In the West you needed 44 wins just to make the playoffs a 60 win Mavs team was a 4th seed the same Mavs team that Kobe outscored in 3 quarters during his 62 point performance that season, and they went to the NBA Finals. In 05-06 Kobe Bryant had 27 40+pt Games thats more than Klay Thompson , Damian Lillard , Kevin Love , Dirk Nowizki and Paul Pierce have in there Careers. Kobe Bryant had 6 50+ Point Games thats the Same as Tim Duncan, Clyde Drexler , Paul Pierce , Reggie miller and Hakeem Olajuwon have In their careers combined. And the 2nd highest scoring game in NBA history 81 points a game they were down in and he came back and won. Yet Westbrook won an MVP for a "historic season" the hypocrisy. Kobe was maligned, and hated on by the media and was on his 2Pac Me Against the World shit, was told he shoots to much one night, then doesn't shoot enough the next, was always blamed for shit, didn't play media politics and thugged shit out. Yet the players around the league viewed Kobe as the undisputed best player in the NBA in 2006 and the only one that got hated on wasn't Nash it was Kobe and to this day still is. R.I.P. to the True MVP Kobe Bean Bryant.

  12. Disrespect? The mvps he has belong to Kobe. The nba gave it to Nash because of the charges that was lies against Kobe in that hotel around that time.

  13. I do love Steve Nash, but I have to say he did underperform. Luck can play a factor, but it’s kind of a weak argument considering the luck of other players as well. I wish he had come back to Dallas Instead of flaming out in LA.

  14. Nash, the worst MVP in NBA history and the fact that he was a back to back MVP showed it ,was and is, just a popularity contest.

  15. A person's take on Steve Nash is my filter for how much I respect their opinion on basketball or anything really and it's because of the contradictions required.

Every time anyone talks about Larry Bird they talk about his back and mitigate some of his shortcomings with that reason but that's never brought up with Nash

People discredit Nash for the system he was in but don't discredit Magic for the same reason (anymore). Furthermore, some of the defensive and rebounding shortcomings were a direct result of the system no one cuts Nash brake for that.

People lose their shit over 50 40 90 seasons if anyone but Nash does it the dude has five by the way (no one else has more than two.)

  16. Most people don’t like him winning because he’s white and a Canadian.. that’s the fact
