    RJ believers:

What do you all believe is his most likely outcome here?

  2. Mobius24

Even the most optimistic RJ fan shouldn’t expect him to be an all star.

  3. nofapbbby

After his playoff performance I have high hopes

  4. The only way RJ will be an All-Star is if we are a top 3 seed in the East and the team is thriving. Like one of those 2015 Hawks situations

Who exactly is overrating him? I know there’s some die hards here but in the papers, radio, etc the consensus is that he’s yet to reach his potential or might never hit it. Bleacher Report isn’t what it used to be. I think they drum up these narratives by looking at social media posts instead of using any insider info.

I need to know how y’all viewed Frank before I can take your opinion seriously.

Hey I love RJ and want him to do really well. The playoffs this year were good to see for him. But we can’t forget there was a couple months where watching him on the court was a genuine WTF moment lmao.

He got the bag and has not showed he earned it… yet. That said, season opener I’ll have a #9 on my back cheering him on!

Expecting him to be an All Star after 5 seasons is unfair to him. He’s just not that great of a player. I’m happy if he just plays well in the playoffs.

As a Knicks fan, I do not think he’s very good. So posts like this are the posts that are overrating him.

Did he have a nice few game run in the post season? Yes. Is he great/elite at anything? No.

What has he gotten any better at over the past 4 years other than becoming a slightly better defender? He entered the league as an inefficient scorer, he’s still that. He couldn’t shoot the 3 and he still can’t. His rebounds, assists, and turnovers have remained the same, so he hasn’t improved at any of that either. And don’t even get me started on his finishing or using his right hand. He’s an average NBA player with an above average usage rate
