Our team last year needed another way to attack and we became a little too one-dimensional with Steph [Curry] in high ball screens. We needed another playmaker to give us a different look and Chris is, as we know, one of the all-time great pick-and-roll players and he’ll know how to control the tempo. It’s hugely important—especially in playoff games—to have guys like that.

Steph Curry On The Warriors:
You have to bring your egos, bring your full identity of who you are at the table. But you also have to know when to sacrifice for the betterment of the group. We know that there’s, you could argue, seven guys that they should start. Seven guys that can argue they should finish games. Do the math. There’s gonna be two people, outside of the equation.

    Hell no. Nellie used to say "you can't teach 7-foot" when trolled out a bunch of stiffs at the center position. Height means nothing if you ain't got game.

    CP has to check himself, he wants to play tons of minutes and start but he's never available for when it counts, the playoffs.

    Looney is THE STARTER, CP is the 6th man, THE END. If CP has a problem he can be let go. If GS is going to lose because of attitude (like last year), they might as well save the money.

    I think CP off the bench is the best case scenario but I would be ok with dray coming off the bench as long as that keeps egos in check and dray gets his normal minutes with the loon, steph, klay, and wiggs

    There is going to be alot of experimenting of lineups by Kerr but I can see Chris Paul starting at least some games since we signed Corey Joseph and he is a solid backup to Steph and Paul. I think it will be mostly game dependent the lineup we run.

    Just because a starting five was effective last year, doesn't mean it will be again this year. Other teams have gotten better with new players. Ours have gotten a year older too.
