Unfortunately two years of mediocre football seems to have come at the worst possible time. It's going to be an uphill battle for sure to into one of these conferences. Memphis has win at least 10 games this year to stay in the conversation.
Memphis basketball is the school's money maker but is being forced to stay in a football midmajor conference. So why not just go to the Big East for basketball and take football to the Sunbelt. The BE is considered a power conference in basketball. It's probably our only chance to ever be at the big table.
