The Charlotte Hornets need a big year from JT Thor. We saw the former Auburn player get a good amount of playing time under coach Steve Clifford and I believe we can expect more of that this season. JT Thor was not a part of the Charlotte Hornets summer league team which can be seen as an indicator that the team feel as though he has earned his keep as a rotational player. But is that justified? With PJ Washington’s future being uknown even if he returns on a qualifying offer, the Hornets will need to see a lot from Thor. Without PJ, Thor is the only true option at the 4 for the Charlotte based team. There is not much Thor will need to do to solidify his roster spot for years to come, but can he do it?
