This team may not be great yet, but I think they made the right decision not putting Trae on the team. He is the quintessential AAU type of player that I think would drag the team down. I like Haliburton a lot better
Dude where are you getting your info from. Trae has led the league in assist the last 2 years and averaged about 27 ppg the last 2 years. No pg can say that. Haliburton or none of the the other guards you named are on that level. Brunson had one good year on that level. Totally absurd, but as a Hawks fan, I'm glad he is not playing. Don't want to risk injury.
Brunson is 190 lbs to Trae 164. Yeah that’s a bigger and stronger player at PG. And Brunson was 49% FG and 41% from three. Trae was 43% FG and 33% from three. Trae can play and I’d pay to see him play but sometimes he just jacks up shots. JB’s assist to turnover is better too

As a Knicks fan…I agree with Gil. Its premature to say "they wont mesh…" Thats why you invite, and let them cook to see how it comes out.
