  1. Raps will be a luxury tax paying Play in team. LMAO. Masai is washed

  2. Pascals extension will be minimum 4/192 mill almost 50 mill per year. Time to trade him and pay OG and Trent and Scottie.

  3. It’s obvious OG is not going to take an extension unless he wants to do the team a favor. So it’s useless to harp on it. You can’t force extensions. It’s not in the FO hands.

It wasn’t in the FO hands for Fred either. He walked cause he was a bet on himself player. Money is his priority, not winning.

Siakam…… same same. I’m positive if he wanted to sign an extension he could.

  4. Raptors are in a tough spot right now. If they extend OG, Pascal will likely go and vice versa. If they extend both, they will pay the luxury tax with potential extensions from GTJ and Scottie, which isn’t ideal for a team trying to contend. The question is, are the Raptors willing to pay an elite 3-and-D role player who can’t dribble $30 million?

  5. Not a bad contract honestly with how contracts are now I mean Desmond bane is getting 40mil and I feel like him and oh are on a similar level

  6. Can we put an end to the "left for nothing" discussions. The player finishing out his contract essentially means we got full use out them, and seeing the inbound trade values you know we are being lowballed by the NBA franchises when it comes to our players … so essentially letting them finish their contracts is seen as more worthwhile in value than the trade. If you can say that about these lowball Pascal offers well same for Fred and others … they finish off their season in Toronto and let them get paid in a bidding war where we know the insider information of that players true worth. Like Fred the true worth was the $30 million a year range contract we were offering and we all absolutely know Houston overpaid … so in essence we weakened a likely adversary by encumbering them with a large contract to maneuver around for next 3 years … so again didn't "leave for nothing".

Toronto FO is very adept and knows how to manage risk better than most NBA teams as an operation. Are we seriously going to doubt how they assess value and contract risk? Masai, Bobby, and the FO know the biggest risk in this league is developing a reputation of being a one stop shopping center to get good players at low value … so long as players who end up leaving are leaving because a large financial payoff is offered means it incentivizes good players to want to come to Toronto. This is the vision of our Front Office … a place a "Mr, bet on yourself" can go to, rise among the ranks and get paid … nowhere else has this philosophy to prefer players end up getting the bag and being happy for them … this to me I think has been a key draw for young players to Toronto as they see a franchise that invests on its players to raise their worth.

Let's not develop a habit of calling these end of contract player departures as a net negative when we as a fanbase see some of these offers and whinge disappointment but then expect the Raptors FO to trade, we are treading very closely on hypocrisy their. I went to end on the point of this video which is OG. I think Pascal has earned an extension before OG. So I'm looking at these high appraisals, propping of OG as being "untradeable for Toronto", the Raptors considering him for extension, and all the other noise as actual part of a haggling process and that Toronto intends to trade OG more seriously than Pascal … there is a small window of a Kawhi like trade where we can see a OG and Precious or someone else with a toss in of a veteran as a cap filler being traded for someone like Dame as a one year rental to pair next to Pascal who gets an extension. We all know that is a moderate risk high reward situation that Masai and Bobby will be absolutely thinking of. I also think Raptors are edging for that because trading Pascal is just dumb. Pascal and Scottie are the backbone of the future of Toronto … Pascal is older by just enough to give Raptors a continuation of a good two key players as a core to build around and manage a transition/ retooling effort over the years; I can't say the same with OG as much as I like him.

  7. I’m a raps fan but i respect basketball before that. The fact dray got 100 for 4 years and everyone else can get more is wild to me. I love OG but this is crazy.we are just overpaying greedy guys. OG told the world he wanted a bigger role but was losing the ball falling all over when he got the chance. I think we should give him another shot but he acting like he asked then preformed

  8. as long as they dont sign a no trade clause, that max contract is a nice tradeable asset.

  9. We should accept the Atlanta trade for Siakiam which we get Hunter, Griffin and Bogan. Trade OG for a bigger package as Hunter can take over the SF position at 20 million a year. Sorry OG ain’t worth 30 million. Start making moves Masai before they walk out on us. A team like Sacramento could use OG, The issue is is Sacramento willing to give up Keegan Murray? Masai stop being hard headed and start robbing teams in trades like Danny Ainge.

  10. People are like let's trade everyone so we can afford being irrelevant and ignored by the rest of league

  11. O.G. frustrates me at times while on the floor. He makes 2 good plays for every one bad play. He dribbles while backing up in the paint and trips over the line. Other times he is under the basket and has his shot blocked. These two things can be so frustrating but on the other hand he does make great plays as well and above average as both defender and rebounder.

  12. I'm confused, why wouldn't the raptors sign both of them? Is it cause of salary caps? I'm pretty new to watching the NBA so I don't know.

  13. There’s rumours the pelicans wanna trade Ingram. Do a 1 on 1 trade Siakiam for Ingram as Zion is always injured and they can’t rely on him as a long term power forward.

  14. Ben come on Pascals regular max extension is not just a few more than OGs…also once pascal signs the extension he CANNOT be traded for 1 full year…the longer it all plays out the less value teams are going to offer…Raps will offer pascal the max extension before the season, if pascal doesn’t accept it then he’s trying for Supermax and it basically is Fred’s situation all over again.

  15. Please, please, please stop talking about FVBrick… lets move on now that we cut loose the Raptor team cancer. The patient is now on the road to a full recovery and ready to move on to new highs.
