How much of a leap can the Bears expect from Justin Fields this season?

  1. Hear it here first. Im a Bears fan and for that reason I say this. The Bears will loose week 1 and Jf will have a couple picks and all hell will break loose in Bears world lol. But finally we have real coaches so they will be fine. I hope im wrong but 40 plus years of Bears fandom makes me think this way

  2. That’s the mistake that Matt Nagy made. He sat Tribusky for the whole preseason when he needed the experience

  3. They are blowing the Chase Claypool out of portion fr. It’s training camp. Players are riled up and tired of hitting each other. It happens no big deal.

  4. 80% of the games they lost last year was by one score . They're gonna fix that with the added talent. If they won most those games last year would've been a great playoff team

  5. NO, absolutely not. Don't put Justin out there In the first preseason game. If he's ur franchise, then treat him as such. Fuck around and get him hurt, then what.

  6. 3500 yards 25 tds <15 int is the baseline. If he gets protection and his weapons are legit and he cant hit these numbers there is a problem and we may have to start looking elsewhere.

  7. I just don’t understand how much better Mark speaks here, literally almost no stuttering. Grats to you, hopefully you can bring that energy elsewhere

  8. Mark Grote really truly feels wildly arrogant. The vibes is off. The level of skepticism is down in the bottom of the barrel. Just say you want the statistical measures. Cause if the defense was better last year, we win games and what you're singing Fields praises as a middle of the road defense gets us a 7-10 or 8-9 team? What would positioning be then? The talent on this roster since 2018 has been overwhelmingly mid. You're going off of previois regimes and franchises approaches. Because you can't carry a story based on anything other than a teams record. Justin Fields passing the ball has been inconsistent at best. He can make every throw. Every thing he needs to work on takes playing time. The talent to throw is undeniable and players agree the man is talented. You're either wildly jaded, or willfully ignorant to the entirety of the organization. Y'all was so happy to see offensive guru Matt Nagy roll through here and basically not know how to be a head coach. At all. Treating the players like absolute children "club dub" and that unreal nonsense. Then wasting an entire season of a QBs career. It's shocking how often you come back to the 'he's got to become a better passer' when in actuality he needs to be more consistent. Talent wise this man has made every throw in the book. Grote's air around the franchise and his dialogue to fans sounds like an grumpy man who can't stop looking at old wounds from the previous Matt and Ryan in the building. You gotta chill.

  9. 3:23 "We could all read between the lines." What if Eberflus is being straight up with you, cause he doesnt have to treat Justin Fields with Kiddie gloves. And there's no reading between the lines. Sometimes you're just noise bro frfr.

  10. 4:23 there he go, comparing completely different regimes, QBs & WRs with the new regime. Fields is a flat out better Prospect than Mitch. Allen Robinson was fine, and not worth what we paid for him. Your argument is as flimsy as that collared shirt bro.

  11. 6:34 nothing like seeing someone blow up, good ole football passion. Gimme a break. I am dying for other Bears coverage that is more nuanced and balanced than this. Local coverage that has this type of access to tell is this type of reporting just says "hey, we gotta see it." Duh bro. What does the draft class look like? Is there anything promising? How do you think the organization is being run? Cause i dont know if you all remember but Nagy Pace years were treacherous after 2018. Like, what is this nonsense?

  12. I want all my players to be on edge. To try and take that away will hurt the team more lol Chase will be alright no need to over coach
