    pascal is way too hard of a worker to trade for pennies on the dollar. we hear a lot and see a lot of workout videos from players who dont really put it to work like that. pascal does. he has been at it all summer and from your leader/best player thats what you love to see. a great example for the young dudes on this squad. you put in the work you will see results. siakam is one of the handful of older vet guys on the team. we already have tons of young talent, we do not need more question marks to develop. im just convinced the league wants to see the raptors be at the bottom for a good 4/5 years. thats what will happen if we make the entire team 20 years old with no superstar caliber player and no experience.

    the raptors are a topic of conversation in the summer because we develop good talent and team's see that, and want to take that for themselves. they dont wanna talk about us but if they do talk about us, its gonna be about taking our core pieces and ensuring we are a sucky bad team. where is the talk about the raptors making moves to get better? its always about the raptors making moves to make the other team better. it sucks to have that stigma as a raps fan. only getting the spotlight when its convenient for the american market.

    I too am sick and tired of this trade talk. Why the hell are they looking to swap out those players? And to trade for an All-NBA player??

    Don't forget, in the end Hawks had the SAME FUCKING RECORD as we did last year. Why would we give up our BEST player for "potential" from a team who had the same damn record as we did?

    So sick of it. We always knew Pascal was good, he is underrated and seems low maintenance. Thats a great thing with a lot of players needing every little thing, spoiled.

    Pascal is staying, he is the blueprint. You don't go selling off your blueprint for crumbs. People don't become the best they can be without mentors and examples. Unless we're trading for Jokic, I don't think there is anyone else better than Pascal at the PF/C position. Sure you can say Giannis, but Giannis can't shoot, he will make this version of our team worse. There are very few PF's that are as complete in skillset as Pascal. He might be the #1 PF in terms of versatility both ends of the floor. Yeah Giannis is better in raw numbers minus FT's, but if you have a game plan around slowing him down, he can't do nothing outside the paint. Pascal will slap you on the mid-range. I can give Giannis some credit, his 3 point shooting isn't far off from Pascals, which went from none to infrequent. Really, you need Pascal so Scottie has someone to emulate, Scottie needs to become the next Pascal MINIMUM.

    Hawks fan here. While the convos were going on, I admit, I wanted Pascal. But the truth is we don't need any drastic changes either. I'm looking forward to seeing my Hawks with Quin Snyder and no John Collins. DJ is our Pascal, and Trae is our Kawhi. They are going to be the best backcourt duo in the league. Looking forward to competing against your team this season. #HawksOverRaptors
