A Positive Take On Brandon Miller And The Hornets

I along with many others think the Hornets should’ve taken Scoot Henderson with the 2nd pick in the 2023 NBA draft. But they did not, and took Alabama’s Brandon Miller instead. Rather than talking about what could’ve been, its now time to talk about what reality is, and I went back and watched some Brandon Miller college games and re-watched his Summer League games and I gave my ammeter take on how I see Miller fitting with the Hornets. I’m generally more positive on the fit the more I think about it, though I would still take Scoot, I think I can see the vision of what the Hornets did drafting Miller. Putting him with LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward (when he plays) and Terry Roizer, etc is only going to accentuate what Miller does best.
