going straight to 2k to get dame a ring after this baby, im thinking pascal siakam gonna look good in portland
Dame May not want to leave, but Portland needs to, Dane is a legend but they need to rebuild and focus on building up other guys. Dame takes a lot of shots
If the Blazers owners were decent people they would trade him now get some excellent draft picks and such and let Dame go get his ring because he will never get one in Portland… he is still high value and teams would give the kitchen sink to get him..
This is why I never got why people prop up dame for being “loyal” I understand wanting guys to stick with the team that drafted him but I also don’t see why there isn’t a value in understanding when your team isn’t doing enough and wanting to go to a better organization. I’m not advocating for making super teams, I’m just more understanding considering how much rings matter in legacy debates. No one gives props to John Stockton for being loyal to the jazz and in 30 years I’m sure the same will happen to dame
imagine hoping a player is still good at 36, for younger players to catch up to standard, what a mess.
He is just stupid, request a trade if you want to win or suffer with this trash ass franchise
One of the main problems is dame doesn't care about a chip i know he would love to win one wit the blazers but I feel he cares more about his comfortablelty more then a chip somewhere else
It's sad but he should have taken a paycut to free more space for another star to join. He deserves every penny he makes, of course, but Portland does not lure free agents and does not pick very high in the draft so the only way to get another star was to have 40+ millions of cap space. But there's hope, they're not THAT committed yet. They only have 9 players under contract for next season for a total of just 113 millions. There's room, let's see…
Portland Trail Blazers need a second Superstar beside Damian Lillard
Blazers fans can say what they want but the Blazers have shown with their actions they don’t really care about winning a championship
How did they fail him? He chose to stay there and kept signing deals. Loyalty can sometimes come with a price he got paid nice.
Everybody gets into the HOF now these days… 😴 why not put LA too and Andre Miller . Dame doesn’t want to leave because that’s the only team that can pay him and owes him a lot.
Good this is exactly what the blazers need. Instead of being the 6th to 8th seed every year. It's in their best interest that if they don't compete for a title then why not get a lottery pick. The prob with Dame is he is so damn good even when they have a shitty team Dame still kicks so much ass they up end up just making the playoffs
You don't know" if any other player has done that" in reference to a buzzer beating series winning shot. Ugh Michael Jordan has a few of those. I don't know if you have ever heard of him.
Trading Dame is a great idea. The right team would give away their whole future to get him.
I honestly feel like the Blazers need to just completely overhaul this roster rather than just trying to make tiny little trades here and there. I'd hang on to Grant but they need to get someone more modern and defensive in for Nurkic and they should ship out Simons to capitalise on his current value. Getting rid of Josh Hart and GP3 was amazingly stupid since they are win now players and acquiring unreliable guys like Thybule and Reddish just made no sense. It's like this franchise is always on the cusp of being a contender but they just do stupid shit piece by piece to ruin it for themselves. They also haven't had a good coach in years.

Dame averaged 30.0 PPG in the 2019-2020 season. His 55 point game against Denver was in double overtime not quadruple overtime.
Dont feel sorry for him one bit!!! He got his bag, he made his choice…He be aight!!! He dont care about rings, just like Westbrook!!!
Dame to Denver please
Thybulle is a WAY better piece than Hart buddy.
Billups is a horrendous NBA head coach
Yeah it’s unfortunate they haven’t tried to make their team better. Why they even traded CJ. is beyond me.
Dame very recently said he despises ring culture in the NBA – he's here to stay. We DO NEED TO GET HIM A CO-STAR THOUGH! So frustrating. I'm a season ticket holder and everything since the trade deadline has been trash.
Dame is a bad defender. He needs to be on team with size and elite defense. Nurkic and the rest of this roster is not built around dame. Put dame on la with AD and their defenders. Dame doesn't want to leave, and NO ONE is going to Portland
They could get decent assets from dame, but no one else they can get anything.
dame failed lame dame. he sat bac all these yrs w/o demandin changes an a better roster. as the 'face' of the franchise after aldridge tucced his tail an ran off 2 san antonio dame shouldve picked out who he wanted ala LEroid an won sum chips. it doesnt help that he's never played defense either.😐😐
I honestly think he will go to Milwaukee since he wants to play with giannis
I grew up watching videos about Dame needing help
Dam is the problem. Only one team can win championships with a PG who does nothing but shoot and that's the warriors. They been to the playoffs majority of the years he has been at Portland. Plenty of guys don't get rings.
Dame should go to the pelicans
Reconnect with CJ at point guard
And win a ring 😆
So some punk-*ss high school kid on YouTube thinks he can tell Dame and the Blazers what they “need” to do 😅😂🤣
Everyone shits on the Blazers like they didn't just have a massive overhaul of their front office. Listen to me here: the guy who traded Gary Trent Jr for Norman Powell is no longer here. The guy who traded 2 firsts for Robert Covington is no longer here. Joe Cronin has done nothing but good things so far for the Blazers. People like to say that Cronin traded away CJ for Josh Hart… when in reality the biggest assets we acquired was the 1st round pick and the trade exception we used to get Jerami Grant. Cronin simply understands that running a front office in the NBA is a game of chess not checkers.
When we don't make the play-offs this year we will be sitting on a top 10 pick, the Knicks pick, all our future firsts, and 5 players 23 years or younger (Simons, Sharpe, Little, Keon, and Watford) that would draw varying levels of interest from any team looking to rebuild. I think we are lining ourselves up to make a blockbuster trade in order to make one final push while Dame is in his prime, but it takes time to acquire the assets necessary to make a move like that. In Cronin we trust!
I never understood why they never traded CJ sooner
The Blazers had a tough go of it. The best players Dame has had during his time is Aldridge, CJ, and Nurkic. A lot of those players either were injured or underperformed.
The front office has tried to pull other all-stars… they just won’t join them. Portland is considered the wastelands.
You can’t just “trade” Dame. You’ve got to deal him to a team of his choosing (which would be limited).
This will help you and every outsider understand what's going on in Portland. Take note of the last year that we went to the western conference finals. That was also the same year the owner Paul Allen passed. His sister ( Jodie Allen) was appointed to oversee the trust. She is not the owner she just manages it. The trust specified that the assets were to be liquidated and given to charity after x amount of years. She wants to spend 0 money because she will be forced to sell it in the somewhat near future. So she has strangled the team. Phil Knight made an offer last summer on the Blazers for 2.5 billion and she wouldn't sell it. Her and her management think by the time she is forced too she will get more than double that. It is sickening she is letting Dame and all Rip city down. Her brother was such a die hard Blazer too he would be devastated to see the organization in the shape it's in. So if you wonder why Portland still is making marginal moves and all these teams are doing blockbuster deals. That's why.
Dame just needs to go to Miami and win with jimmy and bam
AS IM WATCHING SHAMS SAID THEY SHUTTING HIM DOWN INJURED THO
I used to think that til I realized he is an active part in it. With the money he makes, they would ensure, in his contract, that he could not voice that. He scored 71 because they knew they were tanking. He has no choice if he wants to be loyal, which should have made him want to leave. I'm sure they lied to the point that he got stuck. However, no amount of money should make you sell your soul so you get what you ask for
This was never a make or break season.. the blazers are building cap space and trade material to makes moves.. spot with the absurd clickbait titles
I appreciate what Damian brings to the game, but I feel that JJ Reddick interview he did was rather off putting. Yes, journey is important and staying with the same team sounds like a great idea, so it’s winning a chip. Keep chasing.
3:30 KD and Cousins weren't even there in that series.
Blazers now do have a very good chance to get Wemby.
Why would OWNERS be loyal to any player. The team owners are running a business and Gonna maximize off your name.Use you up and on to the next mule
