The Golden State Smurfs will not be legit title contenders again under Dunleavy, Kerr and Golden-Guys. The bold move would have been trading Klay for a 25-27 years old player Zach Lavin, sign and trading Draymond for a legit 5, or even swapping Poole for Portzingis instead of a old overpriced defenseless smurf like CP3 who's style of play doesn't even fit the team and he also has a injury history akin the Anthoney Davis. Small ball is dead, Look at the champs, they have bigs and so did the Lakers who knocked the Warriors out in the playoffs. Size matters again.

You pay for what someone brings in the future not what they did in the past. Klay and Draymond game has gotten worse while Curry keeps improving. They have to take pay cuts or move on. You can’t overpay for them and compete for the title. Unless by some miracle Kuminga and Moody have huge break out years. And even then they will be up for new contracts.

I hope everyone remembers how many bricks were being laid in LA against the Lakers. The Warriors got blown out because shots were not falling in LA. The kid from Santa Clara shot over 40% from 3. You can NEVER have too much shooting. Especially for the Warriors' offense. Great pickup getting All-American Trayce Jackson late in the second round. 6' 8", 240.

Follow me for a sec – You trade Poole for an elderly playmaker who plays slow but helps w turnovers and probably better defensively than Poole. Plus the Poole punch party w Dray and the money situation?? Okay, but why couldn't Mike get a Myles Turner or someone who could help improve the starting 5? But okay Mike, Im curious now.
