Are any of the Blazer Podcasters even from Portland? I’m finding it harder and harder to listen to any of them anymore…

What they should do is have him in a three team trade so we don’t get him…

They don’t do anything with him, because he is not coming here. We don’t want him.

It’s not our job to trade Herro for pieces we like, it’s Miami’s.

What should the Blazers do with enriched Plutonium?

What should the Blazers do in the event of a Cascadia subduction earthquake? If we trade Dame would he comeback and save the city?

The real question is, what team needs a 6th man of the year player like Tyler Herro.. Cuz in my opinion he shouldn’t be a starter. He’s too one-dimensional. He’s young, on a good contract ($25m/year for 3 more years), is a good shooter, mediocre defender and alright passer.

So odds are you’re looking for a team with their eyes on competing for a Championship for the next 3 years or so and need to bolster their bench so they don’t give the games away while the starters rest:

Boston, 76ers, Nuggets, Golden State, Suns, Nets, Bucks, Cavaliers and maybe the Lakers who are always going to be threat due to Lebron being there.

None of those teams have much for draft capital, and the picks you get back from them would be darn near worthless picks in the upper 20’s.

So you want to trade him to one of those teams that has a good young prospect that could fit in with the Blazer’s youth movement… and that really only leaves the Nets and Golden State.

    Nets – Claxton

    Warriors – Kuminga

Blood sacrifice him for better draft picks

Portland just drafted their 4th guard who needs major minutes this year. That’s their problem.

Miami overpaid Tyler Herro, a volume shooter who is limited defensively at a position many teams are set at. That’s theirs.

Portland seems fine going into the season with Dame and slowplaying Sharpe, so the burden is probably on Miami here to find someone to absorb Herro’s contract. The issue is that I’m not sure there are more than 1-2 teams in the league looking to take on $120M in future money. Does Herro do much more than Cam Thomas? I’m not so sure.

I would like to propose a human sacrifice.

Now, as we all know, the Memorial Coliseum, and by proxy the Rose Garden, was built on ancient burial grounds and has thus been cursed for twelve generations, of which we have only completed two. What is less commonly known is that a suitable sacrifice of human blood will clear, or perhaps merely curtail, such a curse.

I believe a sacrifice of one Tyler Herro would buy us perhaps one generation of relief, and as such would be worth strong consideration, and would also align with our current rebuild window.

I also have good reason to believe that Jody would not be apposed to this.
