If Chris Bosh was drafted, Rasheed is never traded for. You could make an argument that that's what Dumars should've done in the first place. If you draft Dwade, I think eventually he would've taken over Rips starting spot, who would've been relegated to sixth man or traded. Melo would've started over Tayshaun immediately, but in that scenario Tay was such a team guy I dont think he would've really cared being the sixth man. Looking back at it, the Pistons should've picked Melo. That team would've been better overall for far longer offensively, and Melo would've learned to play D the right way as apart of a team. The defensive culture Ben Wallace had cultivated in Motown was undeniable. If any of them didn't assimilate to it, they would've been gone.
